Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by our young learners of Grades 1 and 2, who took part in a variety of creative and meaningful activities.
The students got hands-on with art by creating beautiful Earth models using paper tearing and crumbling techniques. They also made vases from old and unused materials, learning the value of recycling and reusing in a fun and practical way.
Through these activities, students explored simple yet important ideas like saving water, protecting trees, reducing waste, and using solar energy. Their thoughtful slogans such as “Save Water,” “Keep it Clean, Make it Green,” and “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” showed their growing understanding of caring for the environment.
It was heartwarming to see our young learners engage with such enthusiasm and take small but meaningful steps towards a greener future.
