Our school proudly organised an In-House Turncoat Debate Competition for students of Grades 6 to 11 on 9th April 2026. Conducted in Hindi, the event gave students a strong platform to express their views, think on their feet, and improve their language skills.
Participants debated thought-provoking topics such as “प्लास्टिक मुक्त भारत : क्या यह संभव है?”, “क्या प्रतिभा सिर्फ marks या grade से नापी जा सकती है?”, “आरक्षण – क्या यह आज के समय में तर्क संगत है”, “क्या पैसा ही खुशी खरीद सकता है?”, “क्या AI मानव रचनात्मकता की जगह ले लेगा?” and “क्या सरकार को इंटरनेट पर नियंत्रण रखना चाहिए?”
The turncoat format made the competition even more engaging, as students had to present both sides of an argument with clarity and confidence.
It helped students build confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills, making the experience both enriching and memorable.
