What we have and what we are is all because of Mother Earth.” Every year, this day is celebrated on April 22. Earth Day serves as a reminder for all of us to take responsibility towards the environment. It’s a time to reflect on our actions and make conscious choices to reduce our impact on the planet.

Students of Niranjana celebrated in several different ways. However, our younger ones marked this occasion by planting saplings. The students got the feel of the process of germination as they used a variety of seeds and earthen pots for it. Teachers explained that seeds require air, water, and good sunlight to grow into plants and trees.

The students were eager to do the activity and enjoyed planting the seeds.
