A debate can change direction with a single question, and that is where thinking on your feet really matters.
Ilayna Khan of Grade 8 and Sanskriti Rajwal of Grade 7 represented The Niranjana School at Plurilogues: Multi-format Debates, part of Aspirations 2026, the 7th Edition of the Inter-School Discursive Thinking Exploration hosted by Sunbeam School, Annapurna-Varanasi.
Moving through a dynamic format of speeches, questions and responses, the students had to articulate their viewpoints clearly, listen carefully and respond as the discussion unfolded.
It was a valuable experience in competitive debating, giving Ilayna and Sanskriti the opportunity to put their communication and critical-thinking skills into practice while engaging with different ideas and perspectives.
