Guru Purnima is a classical Indian festival dedicated to our teachers and gurus. The day is celebrated by expressing gratitude and love for our teachers. As the name suggests, Guru Purnima is observed on the day of the full in the Hindu month of Ashadha. Among the many stories that tell of its origins, a popular belief is that the day commemorates the birth of Maha Rishi Ved Vyasa.

On this auspicious day, it is important to remember that a guru is not just a person with the designation of a teacher or guru. A guru can be any who helps us reach our highest potential – a teacher, a mentor, a parent, or even a friend. They show us what is possible and enable us to make the possibilities a reality or turn them into practices. So, on this day we celebrate our gurus. We thank them for their kindness and commitment to our growth.

The students at The Niranjana School celebrated Guru Purnima with profound reverence and gratitude while adhering to old traditions. A grand assembly was organised today in which they showcased their talents as they danced and sang beautiful melodies, making the occasion even more special. We hope today brings you just as much joy as it did the teachers and students at our school. Happy Guru Purnima!
