A chapter from India’s freedom movement returned to the stage as our students commemorated Gandhi Jayanti through music, dance and drama.
Students of UKG and Grade 5 opened a window into the spirit of the occasion through a soulful song, while Grade 1 students expressed the message of the day through a graceful dance performance.
Grade 5 students then took the audience back to the historic Dandi March with a dance drama, bringing an important moment from India’s struggle for independence into the celebration.
Together, the performances gave students a meaningful way to connect with Mahatma Gandhi’s life and the values of truth, peace and courage that he stood for.
