Every first edition begins with an idea. On 20 September 2026, that idea became MANTRANA, the first edition of the Niranjana Model United Nations.

The conference was declared open with four committees ready for debate and deliberation: Lok Sabha, United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and International Press Corps (IPC). Across the committees, students prepared to question, negotiate, report and put forward their perspectives on the issues before them.

We were honoured to welcome Mr Madhur Oza, Co-founder of MU20 School of Opportunity and a proud alumnus of The Emerald Heights International School, as the Chief Guest. Sharing experiences from his own journey, he encouraged students to dream boldly, embrace opportunities and have the courage to create their own paths.
For The Niranjana School, MANTRANA was more than the opening of a conference. It was the beginning of a new chapter, one built around dialogue, ideas and the confidence to make one’s voice heard.
And this was only the beginning.
