World Animal Day was commemorated with great fervour at our school on 4th October 2024. The event began with an inspiring speech by our class teacher, emphasising the importance of animal welfare and conservation. Students were captivated by a heartwarming story that highlighted the cruelty of throwing stones at street animals and the kindness it takes to protect them.
Our young learners from LKG Nemesia took centre stage with a delightful presentation on World Animal Day. They showcased flashcards reminding us that the day is celebrated annually on 4th October to advocate for animal rights and protection. This year’s theme, “The World is Their Home Too,” resonated with our students, emphasising the need to love and care for animals.
The event culminated in a lively dance performance with an animal theme, leaving the students with a sense of joy and appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Through this celebration, our students learned valuable lessons about respecting and protecting animals, recognising them as precious parts of our ecosystem.
